Amazing Martha wins the Vredendal 12hour circuit race
Our very own Martha’s completed an unbelievable “feat” this past weekend. On Friday she took a taxi to Vredendal…400km away to run a 12 hour circuit race. It turned out the course was a 500m circular grass track. Conditions were bad as it was raining all day.
Not sure how Martha did it but she ran the circuit 204 times for a total distance of 102km within the 12 hour cut off. Of course she ran the socks off all her competitors. The second person completed about 80km. Well Done Martha on another unbelievable feat!!
Well done to all who braved the adverse weather conditions on Saturday to run the Spookhill 15km league race.
