Q. What was your motivation to start running?
A. I was an athlete at school and my brother convinced me to start. I was an athlete all the years at school and saw myself enjoying running and keeping with such activities.

 

Q. How long have you been running?
A. 6 years

 

Q. What is the highlight of your running career?
A. Achieving a good running time in my 2nd attempt at the Commrades was the best experience.

 

Q. Which distance do you best enjoy running?
A. Long and short distances but I still need to work more on my short distance.


Q. What type of training do you do?
A. Track Training and aerobics

 

Q. What is the biggest challenge to your training?
A. To run longer and get stronger. Track training is still a bit of a challenge for me.

 

Q. What is the one item you must have during any race?
A. Gu, my cap and sunglasses are a must

 

Q. What is the best running advice that has been given to you?
A. Start slow in your first half of the race and after that you pick up pace to have a good finish.

 

Q. Do you run through the winter months?
A. YES - no problem with that!
